New hardware with AMD EPYC Turin processors

We're excited to announce the deployment of new servers featuring AMD EPYC™ Turin processors in our cloud infrastructure! These cutting-edge processors offer a significant performance boost of 30-40% compared to previous generations, delivering even faster and more efficient computing power for your workloads.

New AMD EPYC Turin hosts feature:

• Enhanced core architecture: Improved core design for higher instructions per clock and overall performance.
• Faster memory: Support for faster DDR5 memory, reducing memory latency and improving data access speeds.

Hosts are equipped with AMD EPYC 9575F processors, with a clock speed of 3.3 GHz, delivering improved performance for your applications and workloads, and increased efficiency. Faster processors also mean better cost-efficiency, with the ability to do more with fewer resources.

We're progressively rolling out this generation of hardware across all of our locations. The new hosts are available for new deployments of General Purpose and Cloud Native plans in fi-hel2 and us-chi1 data centres.
