Resizing Cloud Servers
Cloud servers can be scaled both up and down by adjusting the server’s plan. Additionally, our platform supports hot resizing, allowing for the addition of CPUs or memory to a running server without any downtime.
Server groups with anti-affinity
Anti-affinity is a feature of Server Groups that instructs our scheduler to deploy Cloud Servers apart from each other. This strategy enhances fault tolerance against hardware failures by ensuring that related servers are not colocated.
Metadata service
The metadata service enables the retrieval of server information from within the server itself. This feature is designed to facilitate the automatic configuration of servers and is commonly utilized alongside cloud-init in the initial setup of the operating system within most of our public templates.
