Object Storage billing

UpCloud Managed Object Storage is billed based on the amount of storage you use, making it a cost-effective and scalable solution for your data storage needs. The billing structure is straightforward and easy to understand, allowing you to budget effectively and only pay for what you use.

How it works

• Billing is based on storage usage in increments of 250 GB

• Each 250 GB increment is billed per hour

• Your storage plan automatically scales up, allowing you to add as much data as you need

Minimum invoicing amount

The minimum invoicing unit is 250 GB, each new Managed Object Storage instance is deployed with 250 GB. If your storage usage exceeds the current 250 GB increment, the Managed Object Storage will be scaled up automatically and the next increment is billed.

Automatic scaling

Your storage plan will automatically scale up when you reach the limit for your current tier, ensuring that you always have the storage you need without any interruption to your service. Each upgrade will add 250 GB to your available storage.

Zero egress fees

All our public cloud services, including Managed Object Storage, now include zero-cost egress transfer. This means that you will not be charged for any outbound network transfer costs, allowing you to distribute your content globally without worrying about additional fees.
