NAT Gateway configurations
NAT and VPN Gateway services are offered in the following configurations:

The identifier is the plan name to use with the UpCloud API and other tools.
The Essentials plan is free of charge as part of UpCloud Essentials. Each account can have up to 5 gateways on the Essentials plan. For more gateways, use one of the paid plans. See the pricing page for plan prices.
Changing the plan
You can change a gateway's plan while it runs. A change from a single-node plan, such as Essentials, to a plan with high availability interrupts outbound traffic for about 20 seconds. A change back to a single-node plan interrupts it for up to about two and a half minutes. The gateway's public IP address stays the same.
