Easily scalable and highly available setups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Out of UpCloud solutions, Montel primarily uses Managed Kubernetes and Managed Databases<\/a>, mainly PostgreSQL<\/a>. Some projects use the UpCloud API<\/a> to check or provision items in the infrastructure. Terraform<\/a> has been used for some projects to set up the infrastructure reproducibly. Object Storage<\/a>, backups, and internal networks are additionally used for almost all projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All setups are highly available, with production environments running several instances of critical workloads. The servers don’t need to be scaled often, as Kubernetes does a good job of balancing the load. When required, bringing new servers up is easy and fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reliability and cost savings <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
