Today, we announce the further expansion of UpCloud’s global network with the launch of our new data center location in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This launch strengthens our commitment to the Nordic region and provides our customers with even more choice, performance, and data sovereignty within the European Union.

The Copenhagen data center is available today, Tuesday, December 16th, 2026, for all new and existing customers.

The new data center is located in Ballerup, approximately 15 kilometres from Copenhagen. To guarantee the high standards of security and performance our customers expect, UpCloud is fully responsible for the operation and maintenance of the server environment, as well as all data processing.

With Copenhagen now live, we’re continuing to invest in strengthening our footprint across the region. We’re also preparing to launch a data center in Norway, which will make us the only cloud provider offering native infrastructure across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway.
