UpCloud has appointed Claudio M. Camacho as Chief Marketing Officer. He will lead the company’s global marketing and brand strategy as UpCloud strengthens its position as a leading European sovereign cloud platform.

Claudio joins at a defining moment for the cloud industry. AI is rapidly expanding who can build and deploy software, increasing both the demand for cloud infrastructure and the strategic importance of where that infrastructure comes from, how it performs and who controls it.

More than 20 years of global technology experience

Claudio brings more than 20 years of experience scaling B2B technology businesses across international markets. His career includes roles at Canonical, Tuxera and Fidelix, combining global commercial leadership with extensive experience in complex technology markets.

He holds an M.Sc. in Service Design and Engineering and a B.Sc. in Computer Science. This combination of technical understanding and commercial experience has shaped his approach throughout his career: making complex technology easier to understand, easier to adopt and more valuable to customers.
