Community events in retrospect: Slush Singapore, SWITCH & upcoming!

It’s been some busy time in Singapore this September with enough tech events to satisfy anyone’s taste. On top of the smaller local meetups, we were excited to take part in some of the bigger scenes. Here is a little retrospect on the recent interesting events and an open invitation to another upcoming conference.

Slush Singapore

This year was the third edition of the huge tech event in Singapore. We partnered together with a bunch of big names from the industry to join the exhibitors for the second time in Slush Singapore. The main event was held on September 14th along with a full schedule of interesting pre-events and parties. We met with a bunch of delegates attending the event, had a ton of interesting conversations, and got to connect with many new people.

Exhibiting at an event like Slush would be nothing without some swag. We came fully equipped with vouchers, T-shirts, plus more, and everything went like hotcakes! Applause to everyone who came and we look forward to seeing you again.

SWITCH

Singapore Week of Innovation & TeCHnology or SWITCH is a meetup platform to brings together partners from around the world in the technology, innovation and enterprise ecosystem in a series of complementary tech events.

We had a blast attending and exhibiting at the three-day event 17-19th of September. It was great to meet up and connect with attendees from across the APAC area while handing out swag and vouchers. Big thanks to everyone who came to see us!

PHP Conference Asia

Our next destination in Singapore is the PHP Conference Asia held in a couple of days on the 27-28th of September. Speakers from around the tech industry will be taking the stage at Kent Ridge Guild House with talks and panels from writing viruses to the history and future of PHP.

We are sponsoring the conference together with other heavy hitters from the region in the effort to boost the development of web technologies in the APAC area. Whether you are a PHP guru, hobbyist programmer, or just curious, all are welcome to join the event!
