Why Partner with UpCloud?
I’ve been passionate about the hosting industry since 2001. Before founding UpCloud, my first company grew to become one of Finland’s largest shared web hosting providers, serving over 30,000 customers. Along the way, I faced the same challenges many of you know well—24/7 on-call responsibilities, solving technical issues, and managing customer inquiries.
At UpCloud, we’ve designed a platform that solves these challenges, offering reliability, scalability, and unparalleled support. We understand the pressures you face because we’ve been there too. Partner with us, and let’s help you focus on growing your business while we handle the rest.
Sincerely, Joel Pihlajamaa CTO, Founder

All UpCloud data centers are directly connected to the Internet via transit operators and Internet exchange points (IXPs). Additionally, we use a dedicated backbone network for connectivity between data centers and carriers.
High-performance enterprise-grade hardware in all data centers to provide consistent experience around the globe. The majority of our data centers are running on renewable energy and are ready to help you grow in a sustainable and future-proof way.
What to expect from our data centers
We require all power, cooling and connectivity systems to either have a stand-in replacement or redundant capacity in case of breakdowns. This enables the necessary maintenance and handling of unexpected issues without interfering with the infrastructure’s operation.
Our operators control all access to the data centers. There are physically isolated sections in the facilities, with electronic access controls. Additionally, the whole site is under recorded video surveillance.
We have built our infrastructure with a serious attitude towards high availability to achieve a disruption-free operation. Our internal Operations team monitors the cloud environment around the clock, working together with the onsite operators.
Sustainable work is crucial for UpCloud, and we want to offer the same to our customers. Data centers operation consumes a lot of power. Therefore, we use energy from renewable sources wherever possible.
Ensure compliance for your customers.
