Cloudscapes is back for season two

Cloudscapes returns with conversations about how cloud services are built, chosen and used. This season, William Barlow and Jannika Jokinen will be speaking with guests from UpCloud and across the industry about sovereignty, product development and the customer feedback that changes how a service works.

The opening episode gives the hosts a chance to introduce themselves, sharing how they came to work in cloud and what keeps them busy outside it.

Meet Will and Jannika

As UpCloud’s Senior Product Marketing Manager, Will enjoys the room his role gives him to be creative and work through problems at scale. He talks about what drew him to the job and what he enjoys about the work.

Jannika’s route into cloud began in B2B sales, working in software developer recruitment services before joining UpCloud. With a decade in sales and nearly four years at the company, she discusses getting to know her customers, managing strategic accounts and bringing colleagues together to help customers succeed.

Outside work, their interests take them in different directions. Jannika, a former gymnast, is working towards her first muscle-up and hopes to visit Canada and South America. Will talks about his baking business, making granola and treats, and his ambition to publish a recipe book.

Will and Jannika also preview the conversations ahead. They’ll hear from engineering leaders about cloud sovereignty, speak with product managers about the decisions behind cloud services and explore how customer feedback turns into features people rely on.
